Minimally Invasive
Suffering From a Painful or Unsightly Bunion?
A bunion is a condition that results from a boney protrudence out the side of the inner foot, which causes the great toe to deviate towards the second toe (see x-ray gallery). They are commonly caused by genetics and certain foot types that can result in pain/redness, arthritis / stiff joint, interference in shoes, discomfort in the ball of the foot and / or an unsightly appearance. These bunion deformities are progressive and usually worsen each year and may cause drifting of the great toe into the second toe thus creating crossover or hammertoe deformities.
